Excellent service and incredibly comfortable. I took my wife there on a mono vacation before out baby gets jere. Jeffrey and Jeannine provided a very calming and casual environment in which to relax and forget the city and any worries. The Lakeview room was by far the best with the top both view. The bed was comfortable and the jet tub was magnificent. They lavished us with a spectacular breakfast and immaculate service highly recommend and will definitely go back.
My wife and I had never been to a B&B before, but we decided to try one out for an anniversary. It was a great experience! The room was beautiful and very comfortable and Jeff and Jeannine were wonderful hosts. The breakfast that we had was one of the best breakfasts I've ever had, in any setting. We loved our stay and are planning on becoming regular return visitors.
Stoneridge Bed and Breakfast is outstanding. Johnny and Carol treat you as part of the family with evening wine tastings and a delicious breakfast. The hilltop view is spectacular overlooking the vineyard, lake, and a turn of the century farmhouse in the valley. This is the middle of the Missouri wine country with many vineyards, wineries, and historical places to visit (Lewis and Clark/Daniel Boone country). Yet if you want to just "get away" you can watch the sunrise, walk the vineyards, lounge in your suite, and watch the sunset from your deck.
Words can't describe the breath taking views, the beautiful home and the incredible and wonderful owners, Carol and Johnny. We highly recommend if you want a wonderful experience. This more than met our expectations! The six days we spent were wonderful and the memories will always be dear to us. We look forward to our next visit.

At the risk of sounding like I'm selling the place, I really can't say enough good things about this place. Just got back from our anniversary there and am so glad we didn't drive out to Herman. Their website has good pictures of the rooms (get one with a patio if you can), host & hostess were great, had an awesome breakfast. One complaint - the coffee wasn't outstanding (not strong enough), but I can live with that. The website doesn't mention the incredible view. I almost forgot I was in Missouri. You are up on the side of a hill & can look way out over the valley with vineyards, a lake, and a red barn just to complete the picture. We haven't stayed at many places in the area, but from the online pictures, most other places look shabby or are in the middle of a little town. This place is well decorated, incredibly comfortable, spotless, and makes you really feel like you are getting away. Highly recommend.
One thing that we appreciated was that they allow single night reservations. My wife and I have two small children, so getting away for more than one night wasn't an option for us. We were looking at a lot of B&B's and this was the only one that we found that would allow for this. I believe they require a two night minimum during Octoberfest, but besides that you can book a single night reservation the rest of the year.
